Located in the heart of historic Chester our relaxing atmosphere and extensive menu of spicy food from around South East Asia. Including dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore we offer something for everyone who enjoys an authentic oriental meal.

Current government guidance states that you can not meet up with other households indoors (your support bubble counts as one household). Please ensure that you meet this criteria before making a reservation.

please note that due to COVID-19 there’s been a number of changes to layout and menus at Slowboat for the safety of our customers and staff:

-Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone you’ve been in close contact with is unwell, has suspected Coronavirus or has been told to self-isolate.

-Hand sanitiser provided at the entrance, exits, toilets etc, please use as necessary.

-Please try to arrive close to your booking time to prevent crowding.

-Face mask’s must be worn when moving around the restaurant but you may take it of while sat at your table.

-Don’t allow children to move around the restaurant on their own.

-Please try to maintain social distancing when moving around the      restaurant.

-Table service only, please don’t approach the bar for service or        payments.

-Our menus and offers have been changed please look at menus before arrival if you can.

-We will need to limit the time at the table to 2 hrs at busy times to   enable time to clean and sanitise before the next booking arrives.
